Who We Are

NGO Rahi is a non-governmental organization registered in 2014 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and recognised as a national-level society with 80G and 12A status. Founded with the passion of 'Devotion to the Nation' and the vision of a 'prosperous Nation', we are a full-spectrum grassroots NGO providing services spanning Education, Child Rights, Women Protection, Health and Community Development.

Our work centres on the empowerment of the underprivileged, women and marginalized communities — because when equipped with the right resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities overcome poverty, marginalisation and social injustice. On the ground, this means mainstreaming vulnerable street children into schools, making low-literate youth employable through skill development, running women empowerment and rehabilitation centres, and organising free medical camps and health awareness drives.

Through 15 Rahi Centres across 10 states — Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Odisha and Haryana — we uphold the highest standards of transparency, accountability and ethical conduct, with every initiative, including the use of CSR contributions, strictly adhering to legal and regulatory frameworks. At the heart of NGO Rahi is a dedicated team of volunteers whose passion and commitment drive our mission to spread happiness and hope.

    Leadership

    Message from the General Secretary

    M Adaphro, General Secretary

"We don't study merely to pass a test or earn a degree; we educate ourselves to light our own path and spark a flame of progress in others."

It is with immense pride and gratitude that I present the Annual Report 2025–2026 of RAHI – A Social & Cultural Upliftment Society. This year has been a significant milestone in our journey of serving vulnerable communities with compassion, innovation, and dedication.

Guided by our vision of an inclusive and equitable society, RAHI has continued to expand its impact across education, healthcare, nutrition, women empowerment, youth development, and cultural preservation. Through the collective efforts of our dedicated team, volunteers, partners, and supporters, we have reached thousands of beneficiaries across multiple states, bringing hope and opportunity to those who need it most.

One of our proudest achievements this year has been the successful implementation of Mission Zero Hunger in Delhi, providing freshly cooked and nutritious meals to patients and their attendants at AIIMS, Safdarjung Hospital, and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital with the generous support of JSPL and Jindal Foundation. This initiative continues to uphold the dignity of vulnerable families by ensuring that no one has to face hunger while seeking medical care.

We also marked a major milestone with the launch of Project “Empowering Future: Hunger, Health & Hope” at Agartala Government Medical College & G.B. Pant Hospital, Tripura, supported by Coal India Limited under its CSR programme. This initiative has strengthened our commitment to improving nutrition, healthcare support, and community well-being while expanding RAHI's reach to the North-East region of India.

Alongside these flagship programmes, our education initiatives, women empowerment projects, digital learning opportunities, internship programme, volunteer engagement, and cultural activities have continued to empower individuals and strengthen communities. We remain committed to preserving India's rich cultural heritage by promoting literature, theatre, folk arts, poetry, and traditional cultural expressions as an integral part of social development.

The growing support from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners, government institutions, educational organizations, and individual donors reflects the trust placed in RAHI's transparent, accountable, and community-driven approach. These partnerships enable us to deliver sustainable and meaningful change while reaching communities that need support the most.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our Founder & President, Board Members, staff, volunteers, donors, CSR partners, government agencies, and every individual who has contributed to our mission. Your continued encouragement and collaboration inspire us to work with greater dedication and purpose.

As we look towards the future, RAHI remains committed to expanding its programmes, strengthening partnerships, and creating lasting social impact. Together, we will continue to build healthier communities, empower future generations, preserve our cultural heritage, and create opportunities for every individual to live with dignity and hope.
